Coffee VS Music

It might be silly to demonstrate such an obvious difference… but this is what is happening in the deejay wedding industry. Scary!

Can you imagine if you called up a photographer and asked him to meet you about your wedding photography and he suggested that you meet with him at the local coffee café. You agree and when you arrive to see the photos he presents you with a cup of coffee. You accept and then ask if you may see his photos and he says “Wouldn’t you rather drink this coffee? Isn’t this coffee excellent? If you love this coffee, then you will love my photography work”. Okay, that meeting would have been a total waste of your time, and so would meeting your caterer for a cup of coffee instead of experiencing a tasting.

So why is music so important and how do you evaluate your deejay to know you and your guests will enjoy themselves for the duration of your event?

Simple (hint and it has nothing to do with a cup of coffee)… we call this experience a must for selecting your professional disc jockey. It is a “customized music demonstration”.

Benefits:

You are able to communicate your music preferences and experience the music you select and how it will be incorporated into your ceremony, cocktail, dinner, and dancing.

You experience the sound system for clarity and fidelity as well as the volume level. We offer systems with dual volume levels so that your guests dancing experience a full body sound and your guests conversing at the tables experience a social volume.

There is no practicing or experimenting with regard to your preferences on your wedding day, because the demo serves as a testing location for what works and doesn’t work for you.

There is a lot to be said for privacy, ever notice how loud coffee places are? You are able to communicate without distractions what you and your guests will want to experience on your big day.

Café vs. Office… I am hearing coffee stores are closing up, when a deejay is doing this part time, do you think they are vested in your big day? We are full-time, 7 days a week focusing on weddings and events. It is our only business, and we are passionate about it. This will be evident when you visit our office.

You are able to feel confident about your professional disc jockey company because you’ve just experienced your wedding instead of a cup of joe.

With the resurgence of magic on television, the public has a renewed interest in one of the oldest performing arts. Forget the top hat and cape, magic has a fresh look and a whole new bag of tricks.

While many people have seen magic on television or on a large stage, it is surprising how many Americans have never seen a live performance. It is an entirely different experience to see magic performed right in front of your eyes, without camera tricks or the proverbial smoke and mirrors.

With the advent of the internet and the prevalence of online video, it is easier than ever to find high quality talent for your event. When choosing a magician be sure to choose a performer who’s style fits the tone of your event. You would not want to hire a children’s magician for your company holiday party or a mind reader for your child’s birthday. Use online video to screen the act for its suitability to your guests and the type of event your having.

You also have a number of choices in the type of performance you choose for your event. Most magicians offer both Strolling Magic and a traditional Standup Show.

Strolling Magic - The magician creates a buzz and breaks the ice, as he strolls around bringing the magic to your guests. Generally booked on an hourly basis, this type of magic is perfect for events in a social setting, or situations where it may be difficult to bring everyone together for a single performance. Strolling Magic is great for wedding receptions, cocktail hours, and before a banquet or dinner party.

Standup Show – Of course you can always opt for a traditional performance. Magic is versatile enough that it can be performed without the luxury of a stage or theatrical setting, making it a great fit for banquets or events in a private home. A 30-45 minute show is ideal for most events.

Magic is a great way to add a little excitement to your next gathering and leave a lasting impression on your guests. Magic is novel, memorable, versatile, and interactive making it a great fit for any event.
